love in action is a slow-media company that creates seasonal empathy card collections designed to accompany one person through a particular season of their life. Each set is meant to be sent one card at a time over a period of time. We began with seaons of grief + loss, but our work holds every season of being human including seasons of transition, celebration, wonder, rest, and joy. love in action is published under ambika media, a slow media imprint founded by Dimple Dhabalia.

The care collective is love in action's program for grief counselors, therapists, hospice workers, social workers, and other care professionals who want to incorporate our cards into their practice or recommend them to clients. the kindred project is love in action's quarterly collaboration program. Each quarter we collaborate with one aligned organization to create a special collection built around their mission and the community they serve. After printing costs are covered, proceeds are split equally between love in action and the partner organization. the kindred project is primarily invitation-based, but organizations whose work aligns with our values are welcome to introduce themselves.
